Who’s excited for Halloween? Hideaway, that’s who!
We’re jam-packed with fun events to celebrate Halloween Weekend at Hideaway RV Resort near Myrtle Beach, and we can’t wait to get dressed up and share in the festivities. Just look at all the events that are happening Halloween Weekend:
HALLOWEEN SCAVENGER HUNT – All weekend long
Throughout the weekend, we’ll have a scavenger hunt around the park so you and the kids can find every item hidden around Hideaway. Go to the Check-In Desk on Friday to pick up your Halloween Scavenger Hunt sheets.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30
DECORATE YOUR SITES CONTEST
The fun begins with our Site Decorating Competition! Decorate your RV site with the spookiest, scariest and ghoulish decorations and show off your Halloween spirit. You could be eligible to win a free night at Hideaway on us! The Site-Decorating Contest winner to be notified before check out.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31
COSTUME CONTEST
1 pm – Stage by the Intercoastal Waterway
Grab your favorite Halloween costume and dress up the kids for the big night, but start a little earlier so you can enter the Hideaway Costume Contest at 1pm on the stage near the water. We’ll have two groups competing for first place, including:
Children Group (17 and under)
First place winners receive a Spooky treat basket from the Camp Store.
Adults Group (18 and up)
First place winners receive a Hideaway T-shirt.
PET COSTUME CONTEST
2 pm – Stage by the Water
Dress up your furry friends in your favorite Halloween costume! The winner of our pet contest receives a ghoulish pet goody bag to make their trick-or-treat night a true delight!
CANDY BAR BINGO
3 pm – Stage by the Water
TRICK OR TREAT TIME
5 pm – 7 pm – Welcome Center
Join us next to the Welcome Center for non-traditional Trick or Treating at our spooky Trick or Treat Tree and graveyard.
